PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar-coated product having fruit juice feeling and body taste derived from a milk component, imparted thereto, and to provide a method for producing the sugar-coated product by which the blocking of the coated products to each other is prevented, and which uses a means of candy coating, providing excellent productivity.
SOLUTION: The sugar-coated product having the candy layer is the sugar-coated product having a sugar-coated layer in a weight of 1-15 times of a single center layer, and is obtained by alternately laminating a layer of glucide and a layer of acidulant in the sugar-coated layer, and forming the candy layer containing an oil component on the outer surface of the sugar-coated layer. Preferably, the glucide contained in the glucide layer in the sugar-coated layer has the crystal state, and the average particle diameter of the crystal is within the range of 5-15 &mum.
