PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin structured such that a vagina facing region is hardly deformed and surely brought into close contact with a vaginal opening when worn being stuck to underwear.
SOLUTION: A liquid absorbing layer 20 constituting the sanitary napkin 1 includes the vagina facing region 25 of high rigidity and side regions 26 of low rigidity located on both sides, and a boundary between the vagina facing region and each side region is formed as a bent boundary part 29. When wearing the sanitary napkin, the side region is bent downward with the bent boundary part as the boundary. As a result, the vagina facing region is hardly bent large or twisted, and the vagina facing region is surely brought into close contact with the vaginal opening in a state of being deployed in almost plane shape.
