A combination lighting apparatus and insect extermination device is disclosed having a housing with an upper section and a lower section separated by a first aperture. A light source is disposed in the upper section. An electrical grid and negative pressure source are disposed in the lower section. A power source is coupled to the light source, the electric grid, and the pressure source. A second aperture is located in the lower section after the electric grid, wherein air is propagated inward through the first aperture, through the electrical grid and out the second aperture.
