The present invention relates to a method for providing information for predicting suicidality of major patients with depression by using glucose. According to the present invention, measuring a glucose concentration in blood is a method for quickly diagnosing mental disorders including major depression which is very useful for objective data analysis of the suicidality of patients with metal disorders. The method comprises the steps of: acquiring a glucose concentration； comparing a normal glucose concentration with the acquired glucose concentration； and predicting and diagnosing the suicidality.본 발명은 포도당을 이용한 주요 우울증 환자의 자살 가능성 예측을 위한 정보제공 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 혈액 내 포도당 농도를 측정하는 것은 주요 우울증을 포함한 정신질환의 신속한 진단 방법으로써 정신질환 환자의 자살 가능성에 대한 객관적인 데이터 분석에 매우 유용하다.
