PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical monitoring system in which the condition of a patient can be determined rapidly and easily even if a medical person does not move to the bedside of the patient.SOLUTION: The system includes: a plurality of biological information display devices 3a, 3b, 3c, ..., 3j connected to a network and a portable terminal 5 that can wirelessly communicate with the biological information display devices. Each biological information display device includes transmitting means 22 for transmitting alarm information when a biological information value for a measured patient exceeds a predetermined threshold. The portable terminal 5 includes: receiving means 33 capable of receiving the alarm information transmitted from the transmitting means 22 and transmitting means 32 capable of transmitting the received alarm information to an arbitrary biological information display device with short-range wireless transmission.
