Disclosed are an optometer and an image processing method thereof which can remove an image of an unwanted light source from a subject′s eye image. The optometer according to one aspect includes a light source unit including a light source for irradiating light for optometry to an eye of a subject to be examined； a lens unit including at least two lenses, transmitting a beam emitted from the light source unit to the subject′s eye, and forming a series of optical paths for transmitting the reflected light reflected from the subject to an image acquisition unit by using the at least two lenses； the image acquisition unit that includes an imaging sensor that receives the reflected light from the lens, and generates an image file for optometry corresponding to the reflected light； and an image processing unit for removing an image corresponding to the optometry light from the image file for optometry and processing an image to obtain only a spot image corresponding to the retina of the eye to be examined.피검안 이미지에서 원치 않는 광원의 상을 제거할 수 있는 검안기 및 검안기의 영상처리방법이 개시된다.일측면에 따른 검안기는, 피검안자의 피검안에 검안용 광을 조사하는 광원을 포함하는 광원부； 2 이상의 렌즈를 포함하며, 상기 광원부로부터 조사되는 광속을 상기 피검안으로 전달하고, 상기 피검안에서 반사된 반사광을 영상획득부로 전달하는 일련의 광경로를 상기 2 이상의 렌즈를 이용하여 형성하는 렌즈부； 상기 반사광을 상기 렌즈부터로부터 전달받는 촬상센서를 포함하며, 상기 반사광에 대응하는 검안용 이미지 파일을 생성하는 영상획득부； 및 상기 검안용 이미지 파일에서 상기 검안용 광에 대응하는 영상을 제거하고 상기 피검안의 망막에 대응하는 스팟 이미지만을 획득하도록 영상을 처리하는 영상처리부；를 포함하여 이루어진다.
