PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that enables urine and the like to be absorbed from both surfaces and that enhances absorption performance (absorption rate and liquid return amount) by making an absorber layer have a three-layered structure.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 200 includes an absorber layer 210, a liquid-permeable upside sheet 202A that covers a top surface of the absorber layer, and a liquid-permeable downside sheet 202B that covers an undersurface of the absorber layer. In the absorber layer, an upper layer 210a, a central layer 210b and a lower layer 210c, which include fluff pulp and a superabsorbent resin, respectively, are stacked in this order. The upper layer faces the upside sheet, and an amount of the superabsorbent resin included in the central layer is larger than the respective amounts of the superabsorbent resins included in the upper and lower layers.
