PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flexibility and cushioning properties stimulating the skin of a wearer to the waist belt of a belt type disposable diaper while arranging an elastic extensible material to the waist belt to enhance the fitness thereof.SOLUTION: A waist extensible material 44 is arranged between two sheet layers 41 and 42 constituting the waist belt 4 to enhance the fitness, and a space S achieving a cushioning function is formed between two sheet layers to lower the stimulation applied to the skin of the wearer by the waist belt. A cushion forming sheet portion 43 is further arranged between the sheet portion coming into contact with the skin of the wearer and the waist extensible material and the sheet portion coming into contact with the skin of the wearer and the cushion forming sheet portion are intermittently bonded to form a space achieving a cushioning function.
