The following components are equipped in a housing (4) of the mist generating device (1): a boiling chamber (40), and a heater (H) which heats the liquid that is conveyed to the boiling chamber (40). The heater (H) is configured at an outside position in the housing (4) according to a mode that an inside surface (Sf1) of the heater (H) opposes the boiling chamber (40) and an outer surface (4a) of the housing (4) opposes an inner surface (4a) of the housing (4).
