PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitamin C-containing beverage improved in taste due to vitamin C, and suppressed in deterioration of vitamin C, to provide a method for producing the beverage, to provide a method for improving taste of the vitamin C-containing beverage, and to provide a method for suppressing deterioration of the vitamin C of the vitamin C-containing beverage.SOLUTION: This vitamin C-containing beverage includes vitamin C, calcium and sodium. The vitamin C-containing beverage is such that the vitamin C content is 400-1,500 mg/100 g, and the ratio (A)/(B) of the calcium content (A) (mg/100 g) to the sodium content (B) (mg/100 g) is 0.4-1.8. The total of the calcium content (A) and the sodium content (B), (A)+(B) is preferably 33-45 mg/100 g.
