The method comprises administering a vascular-hyperpermeability-inhibiting amount of a danazol compound to the animal. The method comprises administering an effective amount of a danazol compound to the animal accounting for the body fat content of the animal. The invention also provides a method of modulating the cytoskeleton of an endothelial cell in an animal.
