PURPOSE: An illumination unit for growing plant and a light apparatus are provided to reduce installation area by using power LED, and to install the light by certain unit in series. CONSTITUTION: At least one high power LED (120) is installed at the light bar (110). At least one UV LED (130) is installed and made a pair with power LED. A first switch controls the on/off of the power LED. A third switch controls the on/off of the UV LED. A control part controls the on/off of the power LED and the UV LED depending on the operation of the first (141) and third switch (143). A connector (200) connects the illumination unit (100) in series.
