The present invention relates to an antibacterial activity of polysaccharide derived from Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens DN1 (KCCM11869P). In particular, a condition for producing EPS at optimal efficiency from Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens DN1 (KCCM11869P) having the most excellent EPS production ability among 22 lactic acid bacteria isolated from kefir is established. The produced EPS is purified, and a structure thereof is confirmed. The present invention has excellent antibacterial activities to Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella Enteritidis strains which are EPS food pointing causative bacteria, and thus can be used as an antibacterial pharmaceutical composition, a food poisoning preventing or treating pharmaceutical composition, a food composition, and a fodder composition.본 발명은 락토바실러스 케피라노파시엔스(Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens) DN1 (KCCM11869P) 유래 다당류의 항균 활성에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로, 케피어로부터 분리된 22개의 유산균들 중 가장 EPS 생산능이 우수한 락토바실러스 케피라노파시엔스 DN1 (KCCM11869P)로부터 최적 효율로 EPS를 생산하는 조건을 수립하고, 생산된 EPS를 정제한 뒤 이의 구성을 확인하였으며, 본 발명의 EPS 식중독 유발균인 리스테리아 모노사이토제니스(Listeriamonocytogenes) 및 살모넬라 엔테리티티스(Salmonella Enteritidis) 균주에 대한 우수한 항균 활성을 가지므로, 이를 항균용 약학 조성물, 식중독 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물, 식품 조성물 및 사료 조성물로 이용할 수 있다.
