PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IABP drive unit that can check and analyze a past drive situation, and can check easily.SOLUTION: An IABP drive unit is provided for attaching a balloon catheter with a balloon connected thereto, and expanding and contracting the balloon. The IABP drive unit includes: a drive situation monitoring unit for monitoring the drive situation of the IABP drive unit, and detecting whether or not a predetermined event is generated a memory unit for storing the information concerning the event a display unit 54 for displaying the information concerning the IABP drive unit and a display control unit for controlling a screen content of the display unit. The drive situation monitoring unit makes a memory unit store waveform data showing the drive situation before and after the occurrence of the event in association with the event history being the history of the event.
