PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improving means for the emulsion characteristics of an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer.
SOLUTION: This emulsion preparation is provided by incorporating hydroxylated phospholipid and a lactobacillus fermented material of a cereal together with the alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer and/or its salt in a skin preparation for external use of an emulsion preparation. The content of the alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer is preferably 0.01 to 0.1 mass%. The hydroxylated phospholipid is preferably hydroxylated lecithin, and its content is preferably 0.1 to 1 mass%. The cereal in the lactobacillus fermented material is preferably rice.
