PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for measuring central blood pressure which enable exact and easy measurement of the central blood pressure, and a device for measuring a heart load which enables exact measurement of the degree of stress on the heart on the basis of the measured central blood pressure.SOLUTION: The device 1 for measuring a heart load, including the device 52 for measuring the central blood pressure, computes a triple product from first cardiac sound amplitude data in measurement showing the amplitude value of a first cardiac sound, second cardiac sound amplitude data in measurement showing the amplitude value of a second cardiac sound and heart rate data showing the heart rate and can detect the optimum motion intensity from heart load data.
