A recombinant gram positive commensal bacterium engineered for heterologous expression of Tad pilus. The Tad pilus is a Tad pilus from a Bifidobacterium selected from Bifidobacterium breve and Bifidobacterium longum. The bacterium is additionally engineered for heterologous expression in-situ in the human gut of a soluble biopharmaceutical product such as a cytokine, an enzyme, a hormone, and an antibody or antibody fragment. The invention also provides a method of treating an inflammatory disease of the human gut comprising administering a recombinant gram positive commensal bacterium of the invention, whereby the recombinant bacterium colonises the patients gut and effects in-situ expression of a soluble biopharmaceutical product in the patients gut.La présente invention concerne une bactérie commensale Gram positif recombinante modifiée pour lexpression hétérologue de pilus Tad.
