PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-tube traveling body capable of smooth traveling in the length direction within a tubular space, which can be advantageously used for usages of an electromagnetic generator, a centroid movable lure, a slide unit and the like.SOLUTION: An in-tube traveling body 21 includes: a cylindrical sphere retainer 23 having at least three lines of sphere circulation grooves composed of a sphere rotation moving groove provided with slit-like openings which permit partial exposure of a plurality of spheres to an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface and sphere feedback grooves connected to one side end part and the other side end part of the sphere rotation moving groove a plurality of spheres 24 stored in the sphere circulation grooves of the cylindrical sphere retainer 23 and a shaft body inserted and fastened to the inner side of the cylindrical sphere retainer 23.
