The present invention relates to a topical herbal composition comprising of therapeutically effective amount of roots of Ficus rumphii leaves of Paederia foetida root of Scoparia dulcis rhizomes of Alpinia galanga leaves of Blumea fistulosa and leaves of Ficus religiosa for use in treating muscle cramps in subjects in need thereof. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of such composition.
