PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and lightweight radiation image detector which can obtain a digital radiation image with high image quality.
SOLUTION: The portable radiation image detector includes an imaging panel 71 having a first component 211 for output of light in accordance with the intensity of an incident radiation, a second component 212 for converting the light output from the first component into electric energy to output a signal based on the obtained electric energy, a supporter 214 that is disposed on the radiation incident surface side of the imaging panel 71, secures the mechanical strength, and transmits radiation entering the imaging panel 71, a supporter 214-2 that is disposed on the opposite side to the radiation incident surface of the imaging panel 71 and secures the mechanical strength, and a casing 40 for storing the imaging panel 71, the supporter 214, and the supporter 214-2.
