To provide a composition and a tablet or a capsule agent having a high content of Ampelopsis grossedentata extract while suppressing a foreign odor peculiar to Ampelopsis grossedentata (generally described as a malodor).SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition containing chitosan and Ampelopsis grossedentata extract. The composition is prepared such that the chitosan content is 10-35 mass%, the ampelopsin content is 5-22 mass%, and a mass ratio of chitosan/ampelopsin is 0.6-3.5.
