The microwave generator (110) includes a microwave signal generator (230) that generates a microwave signal； a microwave generator controller (220) in communication with the microwave signal generator (230)； one or more terminals that connect to the one or more auxiliary modules (e.g., 210, 220, 230, 250, 270, 280), respectively； and a power supply and/or a power distribution module (210) coupled to the microwave signal generator (230), the microwave generator controller (220), and the one or more terminals. The one or more terminals provide (1) power from the power supply and/or power distribution module (210) to the one or more respective auxiliary modules (e.g., 220, 230, 250, 270, 280) and (2) communication signals to and from the one or more respective auxiliary modules (e.g., 220, 230, 250, 270, 280).
