The present invention relates to a method of mixing non-detoxified sulfur with effective microorganisms to prepare a liquid mixture for pest control and extermination and crop growth promotion and a composition prepared thereby. The method comprises the steps of: mixing effective microorganisms (EM) with non-detoxified sulfur at a volume ratio of 1:1-99:1 to make a liquid mixture； maintaining the liquid mixture in a storage tank for about 24 hours at a temperature of 25-60 caused by indirect heating with heaters provided inside and outside the storage tank； and then stirring the liquid mixture with a wood stick or a stirrer. The composition can control crop pests, strengthen the cell membrane of crops, assist in the intracellular absorption of nutrients to promote the growth of crops, enhance the preservation of crops by the strong antioxidant activity of sulfur, increase the yield and quality of crops, and kill harmful soil microorganisms and inhibit the proliferation of harmful soil microorganisms by the bactericidal and insecticidal activities of sulfur to activate effective microorganisms so as to increase the titer of the effective microorganisms.
