PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device for an endoscope that suppresses return light, and an endoscope system having the light source device for the endoscope.SOLUTION: A light source device for an endoscope includes: a plurality of light sources for emitting light of different wavelengths； an optical path integration part for integrating optical paths of the light emitted from the plurality of light sources and emitting integrated light； an optical path part on which the integrated light emitted from the optical path integration part； a photo-detector for receiving a part of the light until the optical paths are integrated by the optical path integration part with regard to the light output from at least one light source out of the plurality of light sources, and acquiring information on a light volume； and a light source control part for adjusting the volume of the light emitted from the at least one light source on the basis of a light volume measuring signal generated by the photo-detector.
