The invention relates to a device (1) for storing at least one contact lens in a care and/or cleaning liquid, including a base (2) with at least one compartment (3) for receiving said contact lens, said compartment (3) also being suitable for receiving a care and/or cleaning liquid for the contact lens, and at least one lid (5) capable of hermetically sealing said compartment (3). Said lid (5) comprises locking means (10) engaging with complementary locking means (11) secured to the receiving compartment (3) and capable of allowing the lid (5) to be locked the first time the compartment (3) is closed, followed by a first opening of the compartment (3) and a second closing of said compartment(3), said lid (5) no longer being capable of closing the compartment (3) after the second time the compartment is opened.
