Optical probes for port-based corridor surgery are provided, including adevice comprising: a surgical tool mountingadaptor configured for mounting to a surgical tool； an optical probe attachedto the surgical tool mounting adaptor, the optical probecomprising: an optical interface end； an optical output end, distal theoptical interface end, the optical output end comprisingillumination optics and collection optics, the illumination optics configuredto illuminate tissue proximal the optical output end, thecollection optics configured to collect an optical signal from the tissue； oneor more illumination optical fibers configured to conveyillumination light from the optical interface end to the illumination optics；and, one or more collection optical fibers configured toconvey the optical signal collected by the collection optics to the opticalinterface end.
