The tape includes a dyed ingrain fiber-based sheet material for: coating a barrier membrane and an adhesive layer (16) made of biocompatible and atraumatic silicone gel on an inner face (12a) of the material intended to be in contact with the skin and coating an anti-adherent polymer and water repellent layer (18) based on fluorosilicone polymer or fluorocarbon on an outer face of the material. The barrier membrane is made of pigmented crosslinked silicone polymer. The sheet material is composed of sheets (13a, 13b) of a mixture of fibers with low tear resistance and easily tearable by hand. The barrier membrane is made of pigmented crosslinked silicone polymer. The sheet material is composed of sheets (13a, 13b) of a mixture of fibers with low tear resistance and easily tearable by hand. The sheets are manufactured from a mixture of short cellulosic fibers and polyethylene terephthalate fibers of average length, and are bonded together by hot calendering process under pressure and/or by a chemical bonding agent in aqueous emulsion. The fibers comprise 10-40 wt.% of polyethylene terephthalate and 90-60 wt.% of cellulose. The sheet material has weight of 30-70 g/m 2> and a thickness of 0.10-0.30 mm. The cellulose fibers have a length of 1-20 mm. The polyethylene terephthalate fibers have linear density of 0.1-5 dtex and length of 2-20 mm. The sheet material has a surface structure having pleats of material in overabundance in a transverse direction so as to impart to the material properties of deformation under low stress elongation in the longitudinal direction.
