A medicament, comprising a first pharmaceutical composition and a second pharmaceutical composition, and, optionally, at least one further pharmaceutical composition, which each comprise c) at least one insulin selected from unmodified insulins, insulin analogs, insulin derivatives and metabolites thereof each having insulin activity, and d) at least one GLP-1 receptor agonist, and contain the at least one insulin and/or the at least one GLP-1 receptor agonist in different weight fractions relative to the total weight of the composition, wherein the medicament is used to treat a patient with diabetes, more particularly type 1 or 2 diabetes, to adjust fasting, postprandial and/or postabsorptive blood glucose concentration, to improve glucose tolerance, to prevent hypoglycemia, or to promote weight loss and/or prevent weight gain, and wherein methods of treatment or prevention of diseases or conditions in humans are disclaimed.
