A needle for use with a biopsy device is described and claimed. The needle is manufactured using a metal injection molding or “MIM” process. The needle includes a piercing tip, wherein the piercing tip includes a base portion, a first cutting portion and a second cutting portion, wherein the first cutting portion and the second cutting portion extend distally from the base portion, wherein the base portion defines a first diameter, wherein the first diameter of the base portion corresponds to the first diameter of the cannula, wherein the first cutting portion defines a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge, wherein at least a portion the first cutting edge and at least a portion of the second cutting edge extends outwardly beyond the first diameter of the base portion.Cette invention concerne une aiguille destinée à être utilisée avec un dispositif de biopsie.
