Techniques for monitoring contact between a user and one or more electrodes of a biofeedback monitoring device include an electrode contact analyzer. The electrode contact analyzer is configured to transmit the BCC reference signal through the transmitting electrode and to receive the biofeedback signal received by the electrode of the biofeedback monitoring device.
