PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ubiquitin fusion gene involved in the gene expression that enables the blocking of cancer neovascular vessels or the inhibition of neovascularization； a DNA vaccine utilizing the ubiquitin fusion gene； and use of the DNA vaccine.SOLUTION: The DNA vaccine comprises a ubiquitin fusion gene produced by linking a ubiquitin gene that encodes ubiquitin (which is a Tag (induction) molecule introducing into a proteosome) to a gene involved in the neovascularization of nutrient vessels in cancer tissues. The DNA vaccine can exhibit the effect thereof through the blocking of nutrient vessels and/or the inhibition of neovascularization in cancer/tumor tissues of highly malignant cancer/tumors in which the expression of major histocompatibility antigen (MHC) class-I molecules on cancer/tumor cells is substantially decreased or lost. The DNA vaccine comprising the ubiquitin fusion gene can block nutrient vessels and/or inhibit neovascularization in cancer/tumors regardless the types of the cancer/tumors, and is therefore useful for the prevention and treatment of cancer/tumors.【課題】癌新生血管のブロックまたは新生阻止をすることができる遺伝子発現に関連するユビキチン融合遺伝子、それを用いたＤＮＡワクチンおよびその用途を提供すること。【解決手段】プロテアソームへ導くＴａｇ（誘導）分子であるユビキチンをコードするユビキチン遺伝子と、癌組織の栄養血管の新生に関連する遺伝子とを結合したユビキチン融合（フュージョン）遺伝子を用いたＤＮＡワクチンは、癌・腫瘍細胞上の主要組織適合性抗原（ＭＨＣ）クラスＩ分子の発現が実質的に低下／欠如しているような悪性度の高い癌・腫瘍に対して、癌・腫瘍組織の栄養血管ブロックおよび／または新生阻止をすることにより効果を示す。また、この発明に係るユビキチン融合遺伝子を用いたＤＮＡワクチンは、癌・腫瘍の種類には制限されることなく、それらの栄養血管のブロックおよび／または新生阻止をすることができることから、癌・腫瘍の予防および治療に有用である。【選択図】なし
