PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact-absorbing device capable of properly avoiding vertebral compression fracture caused by falling on one back side and so on in rehabilitation of the old or in daily life.SOLUTION: The winding type impact-absorbing device has a belt-like supporting bodies 2 comprising expandable cloth covering the waist part and a buttock part of a human body, impact-absorbing pads P supported by the supporting bodies 2, and holding parts 4 arranged in the supporting bodies 2 and holding the winding condition of the supporting bodies 2 around the waist part in an abdominal part side. The impact-absorbing pads P are supported in an area covering a tailbone and an ischial tuberosity of the supporting bodies 2 and are constituted of a plurality of buttock pads 5, 6 where the area is vertically divided.
