PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolutionary external fixator which exerts unconventional functions and effects.
SOLUTION: In the external fixator including a bone fixing part 4 fixed on one bone 1A which is cut apart, a bone fixing part 5 fixed on the other bone 1B, and a screw rod 6 which is provided between both bone fixing parts 4, 5 and relatively moves the bone fixing parts 4, 5 in a direction to be mutually separated by fitting and inserting the screw rod into a screw hole 7 provided at least one of both bone fixing parts 4, 5 and spirally moving the screw rod, one of contact surfaces 6a, 7a where the screw rod 6 makes contact with the screw hole 7 is a metal surface, and the other is a resin surface.
