Composition containing chromium, extracted from a plant of the genus Morus and extracted from a plant of the genus Ilex for the prevention and treatment of pre-diabetes and related pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical compositions
The present invention regards a composition comprising a source of chromium, an extract of a plant of the Morus genus and an extract of a plant of the Ilex genus, and the use thereof in a method for the therapeutic and/or non-therapeutic treatment of alterations of the carbohydrate metabolism and/or of the glycolipid metabolism, in particular in the regression of prediabetes conditions, such as the condition of impaired fasting glucose (IFG) and/or condition of impaired glucose tolerance (IGT).
