PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which is easy to process a tip cover and has excellent light-shielding property, cleanability and drainage property by arranging the tip cover with high accuracy with respect to an observation window. SOLUTION: An endoscope 1 has a tip hard member 30 constituting a tip portion 5, an illumination window 61, a first holding frame 52 for holding an observation window 51, and a spout 41 m for ejecting fluid. A first opening 11 having a nozzle tip 41 and a front contact surface 11c in contact with the front surface 52 of the first holding frame 52 to expose the observation window 51, and a second opening to project the nozzle tip 41. A first cover portion 10 having a portion 12, a light-shielding portion 11b provided along the first opening 11 m of the first opening 10, side surfaces 31s and 32s of the tip rigid member 30, and a first cover portion. A second cover portion 20 that covers a surface on the tip end side of the tip rigid member 30 that is not covered by the tip 10 is provided, and the tip is tipped by a tip cover 9 including the first cover portion 10 and the second cover portion 20. It covers the entire tip side of the rigid member 30.
