PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of improving image quality by reducing possibility of a resonance of an MRI apparatus itself and suppressing occurrence of a vibration due to the resonance and artifacts resulting therefrom.SOLUTION: In a predetermined imaging sequence, it is determined, based on an inputted imaging parameter, whether a cyclic application interval of a gradient magnetic field matches an inherent vibration cycle of an MRI apparatus. Then, when a result of the determination is affirmative, the application interval of the cyclically applied gradient magnetic field is changed so as to be non-cyclic. The change is achieved by giving a variation value, which is given a different value in each cycle, to each application interval.
