A hair care composition having from about 0.05% to about 15% of one or more oligomers derived from unsaturated polyol esters. The hair care composition further includes a gel matrix phase. The gel matrix has from about 0.1% to about 20% of one or more high melting point fatty compounds, from about 0.1% to about 10% of a cationic surfactant system, and at least about 20% of an aqueous carrier, by weight of said hair care composition.
