PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tending machine including a rear cover for covering the backward of the tilling tine, eliminating the need of separately providing a parking brake for stopping a machine body in a slope or the like, and quickly forming the ridge.SOLUTION: The walking type tending machine includes: a rotary cover 8 for covering the upside of the tilling tine 16 mounted on a tilling shaft 14 and the rear cover 9 provided on the rear end side of the rotary cover 8 to rock up and down, wherein the rear cover 9 can be flexibly deformed.
