PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator, capable of reducing a decrease in generated nano mist and negative ions.SOLUTION: A mist generator includes: a porous body 20 located above a rotor 17 for drawing stored water in a water storage chamber 8 and scattering the same, and having a porous part 21 rotated with the rotor 17 so that the scattered stored water collides with it and a blower cylinder 6 containing the porous body 20. A negative ion neutralization preventing member 43 formed of material easily charged to be positive in the charging sequence is provided in the blower cylinder 6, so that nano mist and negative ions generated when the water crushed by collision with the porous part 21 further collides with the negative ion neutralization preventing member 43 in the blower cylinder 6 containing the porous body 20 to be fine-grained are hardly robbed of electrons by charging of the negative ion neutralization preventing member 43.
