A self-propelled agricultural sprayer comprises a supporting frame or chassis 1 mounted on wheels 2, having at a front end a driving cab 3 and at the other end a boom support 7,8 carÂrying a spray boom 10 a tank 5 for spray liquid is mounted rear of the cab 3, and an engine 6 is mounted between the tank and boom support. The tank and engine may be mounted within the wheelbase of the sprayer, and/or the boom may be a pivoting arm and be lifted between an operative position near the ground and an elevated transport position folded against the sides of the sprayer. Also disclosed is a sprayer comprising a modular power supply unit, including an engine and a hydraulic pump, which may be bolted to the chassis and a sprayer comprising wheels mounted on downward limbs extending from a floating cross-beam secured to an A-frame, with springs between crossbeam and frame/chassis.
