Disclosed are a neckband-type healthcare service and method. When a user wears and carries a neckband-type measuring device and measures his/her biometric information, such as brainwaves, pulse waves, and respiration rates to transmit the biometric information to a management server, the biometric information is compared to healthcare patterns of other users who are in the same group or the like in the management server, and a result therefrom is informed to the user. Thus, health of the user can be managed.
