PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment of pest control, specifically suitable for strawberry seedlings with low height and required to be treated in large amount at once, without depending on synthetic agricultural chemicals, and using no warm water.SOLUTION: The equipment uses a movable shelf (7A) supporting seedling-raising containers (P) planted with plant seedlings, wherein the movable shelf (7A) is set in a processing space [processing chamber (2)] to be freely taken in and out, and saturated steam flow adjusted to be a required temperature is generated in the processing space [processing chamber (2)] to horizontally flow on the movable shelf (7A) by using a fan heater unit (20A) and a humidification nozzle (22a), so that the plant seedlings are exposed in the saturated stream flow for within a period of time where heat injury does not occur.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】一度に大量の処理が要求され且つ草丈の低いイチゴ苗に特に好適な、化学合成農薬に頼らない、そして温湯を使用しない、病害虫防除方法と設備を提案する。【解決手段】設備は、植物苗が植え付けられた育苗容器(P)を支持する可動棚(7A)が使用され、この可動棚(7A)を処理空間(処理室(2))内に出し入れ自在に設置し、ファン・ヒーターユニット(20A)と加湿ノズル(22a)を利用して、当該処理空間(処理室(2))内に、所要温度に調整した飽和水蒸気流を、前記可動棚(7A)上を水平に流動するように生成させ、当該飽和水蒸気流中に前記植物苗を、熱傷害を受けない範囲内の時間だけ曝しておくものである。【選択図】図3
