A spray nozzle system, a spray boom with such and an agricultural vehicle having such spray boom is disclosed. The spray nozzle system for a fluid, comprises a spray nozzle body (4A - 4E) including a fluid inlet (20, 106), a first valve (30, 32, 34, 36), a second valve (30, 32, 34, 36), a first outlet (120A - 120F), and a second outlet (120A - 120F); wherein the fluid inlet (20, 106) is coupled to the first outlet (120A - 120F) via a first valve (30, 32, 34, 36); and the fluid inlet (20, 106) is also coupled to the second outlet (120A - 120F) via a second valve (30, 32, 34, 36); a first actuator and a second actuator; and wherein the first actuator is coupled to the first valve (30, 32, 34, 36) and the second actuator is coupled to the second valve (30, 32, 34, 36) to effect any one of a following modes responsive to pulse-width-modulated (PWM) signals (3,5,7) coupled to the first and second actuators, respectively: a first mode wherein the fluid is released from both the first outlet (120A - 120F) and the second outlet (120A - 120F) and a second mode wherein the fluid is released from only the first outlet (120A - 120F) or only the second outlet (120A - 120F). A respective spray boom (500) with such spray nozzle system and an agricultural vehicle with such a spray boom (500) is disclosed.
