PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately set an image signal parameter in a high-resolution monitor and a submonitor, and improve the efficiency of diagnosis/examination.SOLUTION: A first mode which displays the observation screen size of an HDTV monitor with a first observation screen size corresponding to the monitor screen size of an SDTV monitor, and a second mode which displays it with a second observation screen size corresponding to the monitor screen size of the HDTV monitor are selectively set.
