The present invention relates to an extract of Fallopia sachalinensis (F.Schmidt) RonseDecr. having an anti-aging effect and a composition useful to skin containing the same as an active ingredient. The extract of Fallopia sachalinensis (F.Schmidt) RonseDecr. has an excellent inhibitory activity with respect to expression of nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), tumor necrosis factor-&alpha； (TNF-&alpha；), and interleukin (IL)-1&beta；, IL-6, and inhibition of NO generation after lipopolysaccharide treatment which induces inflammation. Therefore, the present invention has an anti-aging effect by immuneactivities and is highly safe by not stimulating skin and having no toxicity. Furthermore, the present invention can be used as a useful active ingredient for an anti-aging cosmetic composition or a skin external application composition.본 발명은 본 발명은 항노화 효과를 가지는 왕호장 추출물 및 그를 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부유용(皮膚有用) 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 왕호장(Fallopia sachalinensis (F.Schmidt) RonseDecr.) 추출물은 염증반응을 유도하는 리포폴리싸카라이드(LPS)처리 후, NO 생성저해 및 인터루킨(IL)-1β, IL-6, 종양괴사인자-α(TNF-α), 사이클로옥시제나제-2(COX-2) 및 일산화질소합성효소(iNOS)의 발현에 대한 억제활성이 우수하므로, 상기의 면역활성에 의한 항노화 효과와 피부에 독성 및 자극이 없어 안정성 면에서 우수하므로, 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 항노화 화장료 조성물 또는 피부외용제 조성물의 유용한 원료로 활용될 수 있다.
