PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening structure having excellent durability without requiring water supply after the construction.SOLUTION: The greening structure 10 includes a water-impermeable tubular body 11 stood into sandy soil D in such a state that a lower end opening 11b reaches a hydrous layer W and having corrosion resistance, a water-absorbent material 12 filled in the interior of the tubular body 11 and greening ground G formed in a region including the top end opening 11a of the tubular body 11. The tubular body 11 is made of a synthetic resin and a plurality of partition walls 11d for dividing the interior of the tubular body 11 into a plurality of compartments 11c arranged in the axial direction are provided integrally at an interval. The water-absorbent material 12 is filled in each of the compartments 11c. Each of the partition walls 11d is provided with 4 or 5 through-holes for providing water permeability thereto.
