A plurality of relative diffusion shapes associated with wave fronts are calculated, at a plurality of time points associated with the rotational source, the wave fronts associated with heart signals. A plurality of intersecting points of a smallest relative diffusion shape and other relative diffusion shapes are determined. A bounded polygon of the intersecting points is defined as the likely core. 7931177_1 -31-WO 2014/150042 PCT/US201 41021973 Page I of 7 114 A B C D E F G H .- 0 FIG. 1 104 200 I (0,0) (28,0)' XNY TX >;eectrode 2 <;-(0,4) 204 206 coordinate. ae 214 3 ~{0.8) (5~~c6,8p ~ine=((x4-1)14) ' A' electrod~e =((y+1)/4) + 1 S208 210) 212 '1202 spine!
