PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of collagen fiber bundles having a high production efficiency compared with the conventional one.
SOLUTION: This production method of collagen fiber bundles is characterized in (i) a process for preparing collagen threads produced by cross-linking using water-soluble collagen as a raw material, (ii) a process for disposing the plurality of collagen threads substantially in parallel to one another, (iii) a process for immersing them in water, an aqueous solution of inorganic salts or a neutralized aqueous solution, and (iv) a process for drying them. Preferably, the process (ii) for disposing the plurality of collagen threads substantially in parallel to one another includes winding the collagen threads around a square frame for a plurality of times.
