PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bad smell reducing agent based on olfactory receptor antagonism.SOLUTION: The invention provides a bad smell reducing agent containing, as an active ingredient, one or more antagonists, selected from the group consisting of 3-(3-isopropyl-phenyl)-butyraldehyde and 3-(4-tert-butylphenyl) propanal, against one of olfactory receptors selected from OR2W1, OR10A6, OR51E1, OR51I2, and OR51L1.
