PURPOSE: A production method of a deer antler extract is provided to separate the high contents of sialic acid contained in deer antlers by high-pressure homogenization and enzyme reaction. CONSTITUTION: Deer antlers are mixed with 5-15 times the amount of water, and the mixture is heated to obtain an extract. Proteinase is added to the extract to obtain an enzyme decomposed product. The enzyme decomposed product is high-pressure homogenized. Bacteria are selected from a group consisting of Bacillus subtilis, Bacilus licheniformis, and Rhizopus. 0.1-5wt% of proteinase is added to the deer antlers. The high-pressure homogenization is conducted in a pressure of 500-1,000 bar for 1-5 times. The deer antlers after the high-pressure homogenization passes through an activated carbon packed tower for purifying.
